Barton
on Sea is
a stony beach with sandy areas as the tide goes out.
The cliffs at Barton
on Sea are subject to considerable erosion and
at times parts of the western beach and undercliff
can be cordoned off. A large
part of the beach has been lost to coastal defences.

and its beautiful (but breezy) cliff top golf
course.
On the clifftop is a cafe, restaurant
and a newsagent. The Beachcomber
Cafe is one of the most popular cafes in the region.

parks along the clifftop as well as on-road parking.
