Canford
Cliffs has a wide sandy beach with a gradual slope
into the sea and is noteable for its steep sandy
cliff face. This is a
Blue Flag beach. The village shops are about half
a mile away.
There is a beach office and Lifeguard
cover from 10am to 6pm, July and August.
Beach wheelchairs: are available along Pooles beaches
free of charge, 24 hours notice must be given to
the beach office.
Bus: The number 50 Wilts&Dorset from
Bournemouth Station to Swanage stops near to the
beach (generally every half hour in the summer).
