Canford
Cliffs has a wide sandy beach with a gradual slope
into the sea and is noteable for its steep sandy
cliff face. This is a
Blue Flag beach. The village shops are about half
a mile away.
Local info: There
is a beach office and Lifeguard cover in July to September
from 10am to 6pm.
Beach wheelchairs are available
along Pooles beaches free of charge, 24 hours notice
must be given to the beach office.
Bus:
The number 50 Wilts&Dorset from
Bournemouth Station to Swanage stops near to the
beach (generally every half hour in the summer).
