Fisherman's walk has a wide sandy beach and is particularly popular with families. The beach is one of four Blue Flag beaches in Bournemouth and arguably one of the best in the country. 

Local info: On the cliff top there is a restaurant, children's play area and a cliff lift down to the beach.

There is a beach office, Lifeguard cover from May through to September and a Kidzone.

Train: The nearest station is Pokesdown on the London Waterloo to Bournemouth line, it is about 25 minutes walk away from the beach.

Bus: The number 1c Yellow Bus (from Poole to Bournemouth Square to Christchurch) stops about 10 minutes walk away from the beach. It runs generally every 20 minutes in summer.

Parking: There is no dedicated car park although parking is available all along the road above and in the many side streets.
