Milford on Sea is a stony beach with good views of the Isle of Wight and the Needles and an excellent walk along Hurst Spit to Hurst Castle.

Local info: Next to the beach is the Needle Eye cafe, an icecream kiosk and a children's play ground. The art deco Marine Cafe on the east side of the beach has recently been rebuilt, the upstairs has excellent views of the Needles.

The shops in Milford on Sea village are 500 yards away.

Hurst Road East: 117 spaces (6 for disabled) Postcode SO41 0PY , Hurst Road West: 176 spaces (9 for disabled) Postcode SO41 0PY and Sturt Pond: 110 spaces.

Bus: The number X1 Wilts&Dorset from Lymington to Bournemouth stops about 500yds from the beach.
