Norton
Spit is a small and little used sandy beach next
to Yarmouth. The area is designated as a Site of
Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
Local info: The
nearest facilities are in Yarmouth.
Ferry: The
Lymington to Yarmouth passenger and car ferry, Wightlink,
takes about 30 minutes to make the crossing to
Yarmouth, Isle of Wight.
Directions:
Go west out of Yarmouth across the bridge and
take the first footpath on the right (it's about
a 15 minute walk).
Bus: The number 7 Southern
Vectis bus from Yarmouth
stops near the beach.
