is along the main road or nearby streets.
Pokesdown railway station is a 25 minute walk.
Cycling
on the Promenade
The restriction to cycling on the promenade
now only applies for July and August 2008 and between
10.00am and 6.00pm.
Dogs
From 1 May to 30 September dogs must be kept on a lead
when on the promenade.
From 1 May to 30 September dogs are banned on the beach except
for designated areas (an area between Fishermans's walk and
Southbourne).
