Parking is along the main road or nearby streets.
25 minute walk from Pokesdown railway station.

One of the best beaches in the UK.

Chalets available at Fishermans Walk Beach (numbers 1500 to 1513) Collect the key Seafront Information Office from 9am and return by 5pm, chalets are for daytime use only for a maximum of six persons. Rates are from £8 to £28 depending on the month. 0845 051 1701
 
Cycling on the Promenade
The restriction to cycling on the promenade now only applies for July and August 2008 and between 10.00am and 6.00pm.
Dogs
From 1 May to 30 September dogs must be kept on a lead when on the promenade.
From 1 May to 30 September dogs are banned on the beach except for designated areas (an area between Fishermans's walk and Southbourne).
