The Hurst
Castle ferry operates every 20 minutes from Keyhaven quay
to Hurst Castle. (weekends only during winter months, weather permitting,
10.30am - 4.00pm.)
Keyhaven is a small, quiet coastal village
overlooking the Solent with views of Hurst Castle and the Isle
of Wight.
Hurst Castle, situated at the end of the
shingle spit, was built in 1544 by Henry VIII and was one of
a chain of coastal fortresses. |
