Vintage Ferry Service
  Description
The Vintage Ferry Service starts from Tuckton Tea Gardens, calling at Wick Ferry, Christchurch Quay and Mudeford Sandbank.

Most people catch the ferry at Christchurch for the beach at Mudeford Sandbank or to walk over the prehistoric Hengistbury Head. You can also continue the walk making a circular trip by crossing the river at the Wick Ferry back to Christchurch.

  History
There are 4 vintage boats all built in 1934/5 in a local boatyard, which still exists in today. These ferries have maintained the service across Christchurch Harbour every year since their construction, except during the war, when they were commandeered by the Navy.
