Lymington Arts Festival—Mon 13—Sat 18 June

*Art and Craft Exhibition: Monday 13—Friday 17. See Centre Diary for opening times.

*Craft Fair: Saturday 18. 10am-4pm. Artists and makers will be exhibiting exciting work for sale including bead jewellery, ceramics, mixed media, art, jewellery, textiles, photography, pottery and much more.

*‘La Commedia Dimenticata’. A play in Italian  performed by our Italian learners. Monday June 13 at 7pm for 7.30 pm in the Malt Hall theatre. Tickets £2 from the Adult Education Office. To include a glass of wine. Collection in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research.

*Taster days will be held throughout the week. Booking at the Adult Education office essential.  (679457)

*Photography Exhibition in the Walter Simmons Gallery by Lymington Camera Club from 6-17 June.

*A variety of delights—Dance and Drama from the 20th Century performed by Alison Avery School of Dance and Lymington Players. Saturday 11 June in the Malt Hall Theatre.  Performances at 2.30pm and 7pm. Tickets £5 available from the Centre Office or  from Alison.

Wimbledon Ladies Final  - Saturday 2 July

Come and watch this exciting match on the BIG screen in the Fuller/McLellan Hall. We will be serving a glass of Pimms with Strawberries and Cream from 1.30pm. Tea and Coffee available. Tickets £5.00 from Reception

Car Parking Permits—£13 for one car and £20 for two cars in the same household. Please supply your car registration number when you purchase your permit.

Newsletters by Post

As postage has gone up yet again we regret that from September we will charge £4 per annum to cover postage to those members who would like their copy sent by Royal Mail. If you can receive your copy by email please let us know. Hand deliveries will continue in those areas where a volunteer is available. (672337)

Lymington Lions—Lymington & Pennington Carnival  will be held on Saturday July 16. Route from Pennington Common to Gosport Street. This year’s theme is ‘Films’. Entries for motorised vehicles to be returned to the Community Centre by 6 July.

*Four Towns Twinning Exhibition  

Saturday, May 21—Sunday, June 5. In the Gallery and Showcase. This display as part of the 30th Anniversary of Twinning celebrations, explores Lymington’s twin towns: Vitré (France), Almansa (Spain), and Mosbach (Germany).  There will be tantalising glimpses of the fun to be had through participating in twinning exchanges, and of the history of the Lymington & District International Twinning Association. Saturday June 4 from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m. A short conference about volunteering in Europe and the UK. learn about best practice, share problems, ideas and solutions.
