Frances also gives talks and film shows to local groups like the Women’s Institute and with financial help from the Farmer’s Market have produced a DVD on how to keep Angora goats.

The Gateway Club is part of a nationwide body of clubs for people with learning difficulties. The Brockenhurst Gateway club opened in 1995, the leader is Jenny Knowles and meetings are held on Tuesday evenings between 7pm and 9pm at Brockenhurst College.
The aim of the club is to offer social and leisure activities to its members and provide opportunities for their personal development.
