The Hythe - Southampton Ferry operates a half hourly ferry service between Hythe Pier and Southampton Town Quay, passing by Ocean Terminal, home of the QE2.

A free shuttle bus service runs every 15 mins (every day and all year) between the Town Quay and Southampton Central railway station (via West Quay shopping centre). The entire journey takes 10 minutes.
