Sea
The Wightlink Passenger/Car Ferry to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight takes about 30 minutes and in the summer generally leaves every 45 minutes. There is another small tourist ferry to Yarmouth, Puffin Cruises that leaves from the quay.

Roads
Wilts & Dorset operate the main Lymington bus services; there are regular services to Southampton (56/56A) and Bournemouth (X1)
During the summer the New Forest Open Top Bus service takes you on a circular trip around the New Forest, it's a hop on hop off service (on the same ticket).

Southampton Airport is the main airport on the south coast and is connected directly to the rail network (see above map). Most of the flights are operated by the airline Flybe.
