Poole Pottery
In 1873, a Builder's Merchant and Ironmonger going by the name of Jesse Carter bought a near derelict pottery in the town of Poole, Dorset. The pottery remains in the same location today and you can visit the shop in the town quay.

Brownsea Island (National Trust)
Located at the entrance to Poole harbour. In 1907 it was the site of Baden-Powell's experimental camp from which Scouting and Guiding evolved. Home to red squirrels and seabirds, ideal for walks and picnics.
