For family history research reasons I am trying to find out about a farm called Cock Crouch mentioned in records ‘near Lymington’ between the late 1500’s into the early 1800’s linked to the names of Stephens and Rennie. The last mention we have of it is when it was mentioned in a will (1817) of William Stephens noting that his property was ‘then in the hands of John Rennie’, his brother-in-law.
