Hythe map

Opened in 1881, Hythe Pier stretches 700 yards to the deep water channel of Southampton Waters. A small Railway originally built in the first world war runs along the pier and connects with the arrival and departure of the Hythe Ferry to Southampton Town Quay. A free shuttle bus service runs every 15 mins (every day and all year) between the Town Quay and Southampton Central railway station (via West Quay shopping centre).
