Branksome China was established
in Bournemouth in 1945 by Ernest Baggaley; he developed a secret
recipe for a unique porcelain, which was fine and light yet strong
and durable. The pottery moved in 1966 to its present home in
Fordingbridge to what was the Regal cinema.
The china is beautifully delicate and retains that 50s look which
has made it so popular worldwide.
A tour of the factory is given if requested.

pottery with a shop at the front displaying the pottery for sale,
and if asked they are generally happy to give you a tour of the
pottery if time permits (free of charge).
