1 Downton Cuckoo Fair

Over 250 craft and other interesting stalls on the greens and in marquees. There is lots of fun for the family including rural craft demonstrations, Punch and Judy, clowns, inflatable’s and a farmers produce marke. We have a wide range of entertainment during the fair including maypole, Morris & traditional dancers; street entertainers.
2 Hampshire Country Fair

This is a 2-day event and includes, Arena Entertainment, Falconry Village, Archery, Angling, Dog Zone, Equestrian, Owl Show, Target Field Sports, Chainsaw Carving, glassblowing, rural skills, Blacksmiths, Craft Village, Ferrets, Regional produce, Meet The Chefs, Childrens Entertaiment and other attractions.
3 Old Gaffers Festival

This is a 3-day event and during the Festival, Yarmouth's harbour will be filled with more than 100 visiting traditional sailing, steam and motor vessels, including the cream of the Old Gaffers fleet. On shore there is, Street Entertainment, Live Music, Craft Fair and Market, Flower Festival, Lifeboat Demonstration and lots more.
4 Wimborne Minster Folk Festival

This is a 3-day event has the very best of traditional English and Celtic music and dance in and around the historic minster town of Wimborne. Concerts, workshops, dance displays, family activities and stalls. The festival campsite is being organised by Wimborne Town Football Club, just a few minutes walk from the town centre and has a lovely view over the Dorset countryside.
5 The Isle of Wight Festival
June 13, 14, 15 & 16  | Visitors: 65,000  |  Web  Map

The Isle of Wight Festival was originally held from 1968 to 1970. The 1970 event had a gathering of over 600,000, and included performers such as, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Joni Mitchell and The Moody Blues. The event was revived in 2002 and has been held annually since that year.
6 Pylewell Park Food & Drink Festival

This is a 2-day event, set in the grounds of Pylewell Park Country Estate. Real ale bars, wine tasting, cookery theatre, vintage tea party, fun fair, camping, great musical performances, farmers & producers market, arts & crafts market, international food, country pastimes, host of attractions & entertainment.
7 Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show

This is a 3-day event and includes, Vintage Vehicles, Craft Marquee, Fun Fair, Children's entertainment, Street Market, Heavy Horses, Steam Engines and various other activities. Also a public camping site provides a weekend of entertainment for campers and caravans alike including a hog roast at the main bar area.
8 New Forest Show

This is a 3-day event and includes, The New Forest and Hampshire County Show is an annual agricultural show held for three days at the end of July. The show attracts, on average, 95,000 visitors every year and brings together a celebration of traditional country pursuits, crafts, produce and entertainment.
9 Summer Spectacular

This 1-day event is a Vintage Car Show organised by the Rotary Club of Lymington and includes, a Dog Show, Children’s entertainment, Brass Band, Birds of Prey, Static Engines, Morris Dancers and an excellent Car Boot Sale.
10 By-Gone Days

Brooklands Farm, South Gorley, Ringwood
This is a 2-day event started in 1991 as a small garden party and has developed into one of the most popular shows in the district. The money raised goes to local charities. The show takes place on the former World War II airfield, RAF Ibsley and includes - Aircraft Displays, Rural Crafts, Gypsy Caravans, Vintage Cars, Motor Cycles, Tractors, Military Vehicles, Steam Train Rides, Model Aircraft Displays and Dog Show.
11 Cowes Week

Cowes, Isle of Wight    
Cowes Week is the longest-running sailing regatta in the world having started in 1826. It now stages up to 40 daily races for around 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world. There is normally a boat running from Lymington to Cowes during the event.
12 Ellingham & Ringwood Agricultural Show

13 Festibelly - Lymington's Music Festival

14 The Great Dorset Steam Fair

This is a 5-day event is one of the largest outdoor events in Europe. One of the highlights is the old time steam funfair. Annually, over 60 Showman's Engines with their gleaming, twisted, brass appear generating the light and power for the old roundabouts and swing-boats, and with 60 merry organs playing, it makes for a fascinating spectacle, especially at night.
15 Bournemouth Air Festival

16 Bestival

Bestival is a four-day music festival held at the Robin Hill country park on the Isle of Wight. It has been held annually in late summer since 2004. Voted the best major UK festival in the UK festival awards 2010 and again in 2012, whilst picking up Fans Favorite Festival in 2011.

18 The Romsey Show

This is a 1-day event and showcases the best of British farming is one of the oldest in England, held annually since 1842. Cattle, goats and sheep from across the region compete for glory in the livestock classes. Hundreds of horses are entered in a number of equine events that range from show jumping and heavy horses to side saddle and best donkey.
19 Southampton Boat Show

The Southampton Boat Show is the biggest water based boat show in Europe. It has been held every September since 1969 in Mayflower Park, Southampton. It is one of the two major annual boat shows in the United Kingdom, alongside the London Boat Show.
19 Blasts from the Past!

This is a 2-day event has 700 participants from Britain's best historical groups presenting a continuous programme of exciting displays plus ongoing living history including arms, armour, weaponry, warriors and soldiers through the ages;  multi-era living history encampments; battles, skirmishes and shoot outs; equestrian skills; military vehicles and much more. Non-military displays include music and song, everyday life through the ages, cooking, fashion & craft.

 
The visitor numbers are very approximate, most organisers have only a rough idea how many people come along, but it may give you an idea how big the show is.
