Furzey Gardens is an
informal woodland garden of about eight acres,
first planted in 1922 and now containing an extensive collection
of Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Flowering trees and shrubs.
Lying within the gardens is Forest Cottage (that once housed a
family with 13 children), believed to have been built in 1560 with
timbers said to have come from the Tudor boatyards at Lymington.
Furzey
Gardens also has a newly restored thatched Craft Gallery and
