The Southampton City
Art Gallery has a collection of over 3,500 works of art, spanning
six centuries from the Renaissance to the present day.The Gallery is internationally renowned for
its collection of contemporary works by British artists.
Slide library: The Gallery also
maintains a slide library containing 20,000 images of art from
all periods. The slides can be borrowed by members of the public

Wheelchair
access throughout the gallery. There are ramps at all entrances,
accessible toilets and a lift. Guide dogs are welcome. There
are regular British sign language (BSL) interpreted tours of
the gallery and also 'touch tours' for visually impaired vistors;
