Carlsen’s has been in St Thomas’ Street for 18 years, the owner Dimitris Carlsen displays 21 local artists in the shop, the most famous being top equine artist Rosemary Sarah Welch.

Dimitris specialises in Victorian Art, with water colours and oils from British, Dutch and French artists from the 1850s onwards. Etchings, a large collection of etchings including; R.F. King, Frank Harding, Rowland Langmaid and W.L. Wylie and Local Pictures with scenes from the New Forest and the Solent.
